A good place to go for brunch in Unley. For us, it would not be our first choice to go, but a very close second. Would recommend for people with families, as it is set up well for them. They even have a play area. The only issue with this is it gets quite loud in a small eating area. Inside it is very modern, clean but a little dark. I actually feel like we are sitting at the cafeteria at IKEA!
Service has been fantastic every time we have gone, and probably why we do go back. When we have had to ask about adjustments to a dish, they have been more than helpful, and suggested options for us. Great service, attentive and fast.
Now the food is pretty good for what it is. Not much imagination in the menu, as mostly standard fare on offer. The dishes we have had have been done very well though, so we have no complaints. We would recommend the beans on toast.
Overall, a good spot to go if that is the type of place you are looking for or prefer.
This place was highly recommended by several pages so I thought I’d give it a try .
Inside , there is an open kitchen and lots of plants, which is usually very promising . And the coffee was Five Senses , which is a good solid coffee bean from Melbourne, which I’ve had before, but unfortunately it tasted quite bitter . My friend got his replaced- but the second coffee he couldn’t finish either , which is very unusual.
I ordered a soba noodle salad, which I was quite excited about , as I love soba ( and you can get them gluten free , it not often ) but unfortunately they were substituted with vermicelli noodles which were quite hard and chewy, and I hadn’t been told about it .
The staff member that served us was quite young and very friendly and welcoming, but the staff at the front that day was obviously going through the motions and didn’t respond to the question that I asked her .
It seems to be nice for families as they have an area for young kids , and the music is in the background so you can have a conversation, so that’s a positive.
I don’t really like criticising and there are quite a few positive things about this place , but I feel that the food and service leaves a bit to be desired . Maybe I just got them on an off day .
We came to this cafe out of nowhere and it turned out to be the perfect place.
Loved the atmosphere and the service. People were super friendly. We had a puppy with us and they said sorry they can’t let us in for seating there as Dogs not allowed in the cafe. But each one of their staff came to check with us.
Food was just perfect!
Every bite was tasty and worth the money. And it was just perfect ♥️
I am surprised by the rating comparing to other cafe's in Adelaide. I can say nice staff, average coffee and very average breakfast items. No special touch or taste on the food and limited options. Smashed Avocado comes with no eggs for $20 which is overpriced at the time of writing this review.
While we stumbled upon this place by chance, I must admit that the coffee I tried was really bad. However, the bright side is that the employees were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a friendly ambiance, you might want to give it a try, but consider exploring other coffee options in the area.
Such a happy place! Super friendly staff and yummy food. This place was packed on a Wednesday morning so would highly recommend making a booking. We got the amigo bowl and breakfast greens. It all tasted as good as it looked. Would highly recommend and will be back.
What a wonderful atmosphere and the food was divine. 100% recommend. Oh and coffee was chefs kiss.
The environment and services are nice for a cuppa coffee but the foods are not recommended, the Load Of Croissant is tasted below the average than other cafe in Adelaide. The coffee latte is good but the Matcha latte is terrible.
